      The pickups in the SD1 / SD2 were described as 'Custom wound Dimarzios' at the time. I thought the SD1s had a tone-zone in the bridge like the SD3, but I could be wrong....

        I guess it could be a tone zone. The only way to tell is to remove it.

          the brigde PU in the SDI+SDII is a Super3 and the neck is an Evo. but i changed it to a tonezone, which sounds way better than the super 3 in this guitar.
          Tonezone were in the SDIII and SDIV.

            I took the neck off to do a little truss rod adjustment and the front of the neck heel reads in pencil:
            20 RF

            The body also reads in pencil:
            20 RF
