[/ QUOTE ] It looks kinda clean from that angle, but there is dirt for sure...

Arrgghh - please don't show pictures of that! I'm pretty sure I'm going to go for a 25th and while I did price up a deal to get both, I can't really justify the cost and so don't need to see more tempting pics of a bullseye now!

Beautiful pics! How do they play in your opinion? How does the '78 sound? Lastly, how well does the vintage trem stay in tune with the straight strat head? I know it's not a Floyd, but can you do moderate bends without the whole guitar going out of tune?

I'm seriously considering buying a bullseye. I'm trying to narrow it down between that and another guitar that's pretty similar.

I tried a bullseye out and a star a while ago. I just played them dry without amping them. They seemed a little pricey in my opinion. However, they weren't set up and again I didn't get to hear them through an amp.
Yesterday I went and checked out a Standard San Dimas. I know the specs are a lot different, but again I wasn't impressed by the quality or the feel of the guitar. And I thought that it sounded horrible (both clean and dirty).
I really love the way the bullseye looks, but I don't want to spend two grand on something I won't be happy with. Unfortunately, there are no dealers with a bullseye in stock anywhere near me so trying one out really isn't an option.

Cool, I was thinking what a waste! Glad I was wrong.

Re: Bullseye Review Please

the bullseye is a great guitar. the neck feels good and the pickup is the evh, which i have in most of my guitars. the only problem is that i must have gotten one of the early ones becuase the trem does not work. the cavity in the back is not big enough to allow any movement. a huge oversight on a guitar of this caliber. i guess im fine with it as a hardtail, as i have other guitars with trems and i enjoy playing it way too much to send it back and have them screw it up. haha yeah there is definitely dirt building up on mine. i love dirty maple necks. btw, you shouldnt spend 2 grand on it...

Beautiful guitar, but I like my black/white guitarxpress.com Bulls because it has a Floyd. If the red/white ones had a Floyd, I'd probably own.

I have told Maynard this before, now keep in mind the level of player I am , but I swear that the B/W bullseye is the nicest playing guitar I own. I think that says something considering the competition.
