Shawn, nice EVH. I've been thinking about snagging one. How does it play compared to your GX Bullseye?

Not to jump the gun here but, any chance we could get a EVH (evenly voiced harmonics) pup on the dweezil?

We could but I'd imagine it would affect the price drastically .. the bullseyes were originally supposed to have those until the pricing came back .

I think they play sweet. I am thrilled with mine. Chris ,(another guy on the board, and a friend)who is a hell of a player, and owner of a few older EVH's said the same. The fit and finish is outstanding. They just play real easy. Not to mention, REAL easy on the eyes.

kev, I have the SD 78 EVH in my red/white bullseye. It is really nice. But to be honest, I am just as happy with the Custom/Custom in my B/W bullseye. What originally came in the B/W?

Yes, JB. Below is from the original GX ad:

"There were probably less than 40 U.S.A. Charvels that were built with the Charvel Ontario heal plate. Thirty of those were the limited production Bulls Eye Charvel shown here. Bolt-on quartersawn maple neck (San Dimas style) (no skunk stripe), 1-11/16 nut, 25.5; scale with 22 jumbo frets and standard pointy headstock. No binding around neck and headstock. Maple Fingerboard with black dot Inlays; Alder body; Original Floyd Rose (non-recessed), Gotoh Tuners and Black Hardware.; Electronics are passive with a single Seymour Duncan JB at the Bridge and a single volume control. Black/White with Bullseye Graphic on body only. Black Heastock with Gold Charvel Logo. Price includes a custom G&G blue poodle-lined case and free shipping within the Continental U.S."

                    Re: Bullseye Review Please

Chris here - i don't know about the hell of a player part, but anyway.

I have been to shawns on a number of occasions and i have played just about every one he has and here's the skinny -

The b&y bullseye is literally right out a time machine. i used to hang around thorobred music waaaaaayyy back in the day and i will say that it feels like the reissue came right off the wall behind the counter. I was totally impressed with it. Now factor in that i have played shawns white tele and that thing rocks. i think that the common demoninator here is that all of the pointys that are coming our now are DEAD SPOT ON. my only beef with the tele, is the same beef i have with all tele's, and that is the damn thing needs a comfort bevel on the front.

now, i favor stratheads over pointys, but the pointys i have had my hands on are incredible, they truly are.

I probably would also need to be in for a Dweezil green.
