Enough of the pretty V's and all of the clean Bullseyes [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]. For those of us who were not quick enough or fortunate enough to grab a super clean Charvel lets see the down and dirty player Charvels and the parts mutts.
Actually I just wanted to test out our new fuji E550 camera.

Yes that is a Model series neckplate. My original is to warped to leave on, and I have been to lazy to contact Budman for a brass one.

...it is actually the Rising Sun graphic. All real parts but pieced together from 3 different Charvels.

That blue HSH mutt is my kind of Charvel! I'd keep the model series plate also, just to confuse people. Out of curiosity, how much is a mutt like that worth if one was to buy something like that? I assume the body has been routed to add the single due to it being so close to the neck hum...

81 neck (relogo'd) on an 84 body...no gap. Refinished by GMW.

Blue is a player with the original body and neck, and neck plate. It has been heavily modded. The neck pickup, the single, and the floyd are all mods. I think I picked it up for $1200 maybe a little high for all of the mods done to this guitar. However I wouldn't take triple of what I paid for it, it plays so good all of my other guitars have become case queens. I wanted a strathead and there aren't that many out there to be had. I found this one and a stripped maple parts rig that I passed on (wish I hadn't now).

Monte the flame on that is killer.
