WildWest has got this one, i'm waiting for a price on it what do you guys think?

Hey Nick, that is sweet. I was really into the chlorine 25th that the Music Zoo had and just could not get myself to pull the trigger. My only issue with that pointy is the middle pickup gets in my way, but with your old soloist thing, I assume that it will not be an issue for you.

I must confess that I have ordered a CS from Charvel and until I get it, my opinions on the new pointys are based on looks (I have heard nothing but goods things).

Do you know if anyone local to us actually has a new pointy that you could check out?

wow....wild west seems to have some PRIME stock...i like that amber pointy with maple neck, 2 hums, and les paul control setup, vtrem....oh my!

can't wait to sample these new creations. hope they are as good as the old ones! or at least close...

Other than a few minor details,the new pointies are dead-on repros of the originals,neck profile & all!!

Due yourself a favor, if you get it, play it and really make up your mind about it within the approval period, if it's for you cool, keep it. If it's not send it back, don't wait a month or so to decide you don't like it and then try to sell it. These new Charvels are expensive, and they seem to eat it HUGE in the resell department. I'm not saying they are bad. Just for some reason you can't seem to give a new used one away.

That is a killer pointy for sure.
If it had a RW board I would be dying.

The only thing is that WWG seems to operate on a higher marging than other dealers. Very hard to get a "good" deal out of those guys.
Great guys to talk to, no question, but their multipliers are a little stiff.

Hope you get a good deal and give us a review.

The 48 hour return policy is a nice touch by these guys, BUT 10% restock + shipping both ways + CC fees?
A refund may end up costing you 20% of what you paid for it.

Then grab one.. yes they are like the original profile and the standard series is in a great price range at the moment.. I'd be willing to bet it they stick around and get popular the price will go up the way the economy is going ..
