Pointies were introduced around serial number 1700ish but Strat head necks were offered for a $50 upcharge up until the end of production in 1986.

Strat Head necks are found on Charvels with serials from prepro (no serials) up to serial #5490, the second last San Dimas Charvel made.

This guitar came with a floyd. Originally non-recessed, but when the previous owner (also original owner) bought a new floyd for it, he had the back-route added.
