Tracy--about your "leopard" star

I was cruising your site and was looking at the yellow cow star.when i read the part about the work order calling it a leopard(i walways thought it was a cow graphic,lol.)it hit me.

In 83-84 Akira Takaski did an ad for ESP starbody with the exact graphic on it except the yellow was dull, more like the lynch bengals. Chuck probably has that ad somewhere , i know it was in the guitar world with jeff beck on the cover.Just thought youd like to know.GREAT GUITAR BTW.

lol.....yeah I always think of it as a COW too. Very cool guitar though but it really does not look like a leopard IMO, unless there was some good shit being smoked that day, lol!!!

I do not necessarily like that color, the pattern, the inlays or the controls, but I'll be damned if that is not a killer guitar!
