i found the MOTHERLODE of charvel USA photos.

i've got pics of some guitars that will blow your mind...including the double logo guitar i spoke of in an earlier thread.

also found the "jackson/charvel reference video"...someone made this in the early 90s, total charvel PORN with a soundtrack from ratt, dokken, etc...

i will scan the photos, and put some up next week, to keep up with tracy [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

just watched that video with my bandmembers and girls hanging around...they thought it was total guitar porn! the soundtrack only makes it more fun, with the ratt and dokken tunes...

do you have any of the guitars in that video? where is the 1 hum big tiger flame amber see thru charvel pointy at??? that guitar is SICK....

some nice stratheads in that video, and some teles with tele headstocks...oops, sorry...i know you're jonesing for one :-)

and my birdseye tele is in that video! i found the receipt for that guitar...i actually traded it in to thoroughbred, and george ended up with it! that's how we became friends...i found the ad i had written to sell that guitar in VG magazine...i was only asking $1000....can you believe no one bought it??? also found a draft of a letter i had written to grover jackson in 1984, begging him to make me a 2 hum HRF strathead :-)

i had every receipt for every charvel and jackson guitar i ever bought...it was kinda cool looking through all that stuff.

tracy, did you ever see the 2 hum maple neck pointy vtrem guitar...AMAZING blue sunburst flametop. it is in the video...where is THAT ONE???? i think i almost bought it...

In the Burning heart video i beleive he had somthing simular, or maybe it was another early vandenberg vid.None of them had logos on the headstock though.Beautiful guitars.My computer at work doesnt let me see the pics for some reason, so i cant wait til i get home to see whatcha found.

Vandenburgs guitar was not a Charvel,it was a neck-thru custom strathead,looked more like a lefty strat shape!!
