Wow, I can't believe someone has it who will actually let the rest of the world gawk over it. How cool is that

Agree...it is most excellent that such an historical and cool Charvel ended up with a public collector who will share with us. I keep telling you guys, Rob W's site is a daily stop for me..its awesome stuff over on his site and he's a great guy.

Not sure Lance but it was offered up for sale last year and a few other times before that..last time it was offered, asking price was $15k. Not sure what it sold for but its hould have gotten good coin noting its historical importance and clean condition (alebit some changed parts, added Floyd, pku changed and the neck has been re-fretboarded).

But the American dollar is weak right now making it a great grab for Rob. I anxiously await some neck pocket pics from Rob..be cool seeing that info/the markings and dates!!

I have 5 or 6 pics from the last time it was up for sale. It is in great condition and serial #1001...cool.

Here is one pic I had gotten from the seller last year. I will wait and let Rob post others..but trust me this guitar is clean...

Totally agree and it is great that we have people like Rob Witte around. He has been nothing but cool with me allowing me to use many of his pics/ads and always giving me encouragement and feedback on my site. He is a great guy with a passion that existed long before Jackson and Charvels were the "in" thing.

Rob has acquired some real IMPORTANT pieces as of late and I for one think that is very cool. I am anxiously awaiting to see details of a few he has recently scored, J0001, green soloist proto etc...graet guy, great site and I thank him for sharing.

That is one cool guitar....and next to EVH's black and yellow I am guessing is probably one of the most famous (better known) Charvels made.

Re-fretboarded, that explains how that neck looks original, with matching paint on the hs, yet went from a 21 to a 22 fretter. Cool guitar.
