That is one cool guitar....and next to EVH's black and yellow I am guessing is probably one of the most famous (better known) Charvels made.

That's an interesting statement. To be honest, I'd never heard of the Heineken Charvel until I came here. I vividly remember a lot of Charvels but never that one.
I'm happy for Rob because I definitely see how that guitar would be significant to a collector. Congrats.
I want REAL change. I want dead bodies littering the capitol.
I asked Robert and he also confirmed that Randy's rhoads guitars had no serial numbers. I think sometimes people are too quick to attack on comments without any real knowledge on things.
Great score, the last time it was up for sale, it had a pointy headstock. This neck must have been added within the last 1-2 years. Someone else had this thing pinned down for a sale....and if I remember correctly, it caused alot of bickering.....alot of backstabbing and the deal was killed.
It is good Rob got it and is willing to share the photos and the joy of this piece. It truly couldnt have went to a better guy unless our own gtrbuyer would have landed it.-Lou

I'm with Tim on this, in that I'd never seen that Charvel until coming here....I may be missing something, but exactly what is soooo special about that guitar over any other one off graphics from the same time?
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get
Ian I think it means a lot to Robert cause it's the first serialized Charvel. Basically the same attraction as on J0001. I'd personally prefer a Wodka graphic though.
It was up on ebay a couple of years ago. Yogadork won the auction (legitimately) for $5K, if my memory serves. The seller then got cold feet or whatever and backed out of the deal. No editorial or judgement here, just the way I remember it.

Couldn't agree more Jani, just look in any thread in this folder!!

very positive input Chuck. I think this folder is doing okay but that is just my opinion and in fact I think it has picked up. But you are certainly entitled to your own opinion as always its good seeing you post here in this folder. Okay now back to being positive so people can's say I don't practice what I preach.

To my knowledge this (replacement) neck was always on the guitar when it was previously offered for sale. Cool guitar and if the pics Rob sent me are any indication of what will be up on his site..wow!! Rob has some great pics of the guitar at a early NAMM show with the first neck on it. Very cool pics....once again congrats Rob.
