    well...to be honest i have not picked up a new retro series to see...all i'm going by is what mike shannon told me at the namm show...lol...d.m.

      i totally agree with shawn. i dont get this imaginary boundary that exists between set necks and bolt ons. i mean are way saying that jacksons are better because they are neck throughs? or are gibsons better because they are glue ons?

      i've got a RR and a few stratheads - guess what i play more.

      as shawn said - it's what you like - but i dont get the bias

        i've said it before....back in the day, i would have traded 2 bolt on pointies for one soloist custom :-)

        and shawn is right...i wear a rolex submariner and a datejust...these things are way to expensive, and they don't keep time as well as a $50 quartz watch. but i like the way they feel, i appreciate the craftsmanship, and i enjoy them.

        i'm gonna go back and play that bullseye again :-)
