• 2005 European Bullseye Ltd Edition

I've just had this new European Bullseye delivered today. She is serial # (05)001 out of 27. I'm still getting used to the headstock, why they chose this design, I will never know. A pointy would have been the way to go in my opinion!! The neck however, feels awesome and the Guitar simply SCREAMS!! The fingerboard is a nice slab of ebony which is a little unusual on a Charvel but all the same, is of very high quality.

Yea, I agree.
That headstock and also maybe the Black color headstock/knob/tuners don't match the body.
Somehow it makes it to look like parts guitar..
Still nice though.

If it plays and sounds great, that's all that matters. I, however, could not deal with that headstock. Sorry, I'm fickle.

Hey, I agree that it is not the norm and I have an 81 bullseye, but I do think they did something unique for a limited edition and it looks great

What Chuck said!

You have got to be fukin kidding me. Not even a pointy!

Well I guess that fender is giving you guys the big middle finger after all those years of being able to order s-head customs from AMIC for european delivery!

Hmm, my money may be safe this time Steve - although I must admit, the SL2H you got me & your San Dimas have made me a Jackson/Charvel fan.............

I never thought those headstocks were all that bad, but it looks very strange reversed like that.

When I saw the thread I went oh yeah !!!!!
When I saw the guitar I went Oh No !!!!!

Sorry , but that just looks wrong and dare I say it cheap . It looks like someone put a lefty Fender Telecaster neck on that body .
I wish I could be positive here , but I would not buy that .
Oh stick this in your fuse box ..... Bon Scott

Hmmm. Maybe they had some leftover bodies from the strathead bullseye LE run? Put a set of different necks on 'em, and black hardware... Whala! Special European run. The painted headstock does not appeal to me.

I kinda like it...agree the black knob and pku look a little out of place..IMO throw on a cream DiMarizo and brass knob and it would look better. I kinda dig it...

Hey what kind of neck plate on it....

It's got a Chrome Neck Plate with Charvel stamped on at the top then 2005 European Ltd Edition and the serial below the logo. Also, I'm pretty sure that Mike Shannon has signed the back of the headstock although, I didn't get a certificate with the guitar. It has just arrived back from being on show at the Frankfurt Music Messe so I'll have to chase them up next week to see if I can locate one.
