Here are a few pics taken in my old guitar room (the room was much larger than my current set up). This was back about 5 or 6 years ago so my collection did not have as many Charvels.
At that time (late 1990's), I was just getting full blown Charvel fever. Being new to Charvel Land, my collection had more GMWs, Charvel parts/mutts and because I had no REAL "hands on" experience and only limited Charvel knowledge, I got taken on a few fakes. Bummer but it did serve as a good learning experience and helped me not to make that mistake again.

Actually that closest is full of guitars that live in their cases unfortunately, mostly Les Pauls and a few SG's. Sadly I ran out of room and for the first time ever,I know have about 20 or so guitars that live in cases which sucks.

Yeah the green one was a GMW guitar. It had a Charvel logo and a Charvel serialized neck plate slapped on but it was a GMW. I bought that one and a yellow/white checkerboard Strat Head (pics are up on the GMW site) at the same time from a fellow collector in CA. Back then (1998) I think I only paid $1700 for the pair.

What is funny, is that the guy who ordered it, asked Lee (GMW) to do a copy of the black and white off centered Charvel Bulls Eye Strat that I eventually ended up owning.

Great guitar but after I was fortunate to acquire a few 100% REAL Charvel Strat Heads, I sold off my GMW and parts guitars to make room for other Charvels.

Nice pictures Tracy. Makes me want to take all of mine out of the cases... I have to do a better "display" I think without a great way to display them you are depriving yourself...

I sold the GMW's and parts stuff back in early 2001 IIRC. If I knew what I do today, I would have taken the loose Charvel neck plates off of them before I sold them and throw them up on ebay for $400 a pop...just kidding. My how times have changed!! Back in 2000/2001 loose plates were a mere $150 or so and there seemed to be a lot more of them kicking around.

That's amazing to see Tracy, what a great place to live, though I wouldn't want to be in charge of dusting....lol...

Also, pray that pipe above those cases never bursts....that would suck big time....
