I was playing with brass hardware for that one today.... Thinking about changing it around. I do think the chrome looks good though and may just put the stars on it...

Incredible, I was thinking about calling warmoth about a star amber flame top w/ binding. After seeing your now I really want to call. That bangel is not a recent ebay puchase is it?

i have a few questions, my Star Loving friend!

are all those bodies like virgin, NOS pieces, or have they come off full guitars?

do you switch parts and necks and etc. often?

and does switching them a lot hurt the body? like the stripping of the wood, by changing the neck, the bridge, etc. often?

I was lucky and got 5 virgin prepro star bodies from one source. The 2 copper colored, the 2 single hum flame maples and the white. The white had a red and white paintjob and the owner thought it was out of style so he started stripping it. The green is another prepro body that was virgin but was built up by another JCF member. The Bengal I got last weel off eBay. Theheckerboard I got last year off ebay and refined it. The dokken flamed star is #1587 and is also refined. It was bare wood when I got it.

I have been building them up slowly and I am always looking for parts. Ounce I get a good neck/body match I leave it but play with the hardware...
