Plays very nice... the neck is thinner than I expected, but that's fine [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
The EMG single coils (and the EMG89 in SC-mode) deliver very crisp sounds! They are much more crisp than the single coils of my SL-1. But that's how I wanted it, because I was looking for Strat-like sounds. First I thought that they might deliver a bit warmer sounds, because the body is mahogany, but that's not the case.
The EMG89 in 85-mode is what you would expect from a 85. Very PAF-like.

That's a good question, the people from the customs office asked me the same [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
Well, it should be ebony, but since mother nature was a bit moody it has many bright and even violet streaks.
