GX Bullseye 6034 arrives!

I collected it from a guy who was selling it on eBay today. I should thank Steve (Jacksonwolf) for graciously stepping back and allowing me to get this one - I owe you mate! This thing is totally mint, and even has the plastic film on the rear of the tuners. I haven't had chance to get to grips with it yet, but the nut seems offset and looks almost like it's too small for the neck (like a 1 5/8" has been used on a 1 11/16" neck). It's not a big deal, but does seem a little strange....

I figure that everyone here knows what they look like (and my computer died!) so I haven't posted any pics - sorry!

It'd be interesting to know how many of these guitars are owned by members here....

Awesome guitars. Probably the best special run of guitars to come out of the custom shop in a long time. And, in a sense, they are the "pre-pros" of the current USA Charvel line.

The only reason I (reluctantly) sold 6026 was because I decided to order other pieces with some similar specs. Not the same, but close enough that it didn't make sense to keep her. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

If the new pointies weren't so good - that fact largely due to the Bullseyes, IMHO - with great options, I would've kept that guitar for life.

I agree, now that I've played this one for a while and I checked out a new pointy at Matts, I would not hesitate to order a new pointy CS from Charvel. They seem to be pretty consistent.
