A couple of questions about the new Charvels......

How do the necks feel compared to the GuitarXpress b/w Bullseye limited edition?

Has anyone seen one with a graphic? (other than the NAMM Crossed Swords). Wild West Guitars have quite a few with nice tops and in colours other than the standard 3, but I've not seen any graphics yet....

The same.

There have been plenty with graphics. WWG (look down further at the sold ones), DCGL, etc. The standard solid colors seem more prevalent, though. That's probably just what many dealers are comfortable ordering so far. And, other than the few at WWG's, I've seen literally zero with transparent finishes. ...Probably becuase you can only get them like that by going full custom.

They feel very similar. I have shreddermons old GX Bullseye
(thanks you guys!) and I've played a new pointy at Matts Music and they felt very close. I wouldn't hesitate ordering a new one, I actually got a custom order quote from Matt, that's how much I likd it, but my purchasing is
on hold for a bit. So I would not hesitate and I would go
thru Matt, he got me my quote really quickly and you know
the rep he has here.
You don't have to worry when you deal thru Matt.

Agreed,neck profiles are identical!!

Yeah,there've been many with graphics!!

also agree...the new pointy necks have are near identical in feel and profile when compared with the necks on the GuitarXpress BullsEye reissues. furthermore, he necks are super close when compared side by side with the necks on the originals...

Cool - thanks for the responses guys. I must admit I'd forgotten the snakeskin and HRF at WWG.

I have a custom Jackson on order through Matt, and am considering the black one hum he has in stock, but in honesty I can't face the year wait for a graphic at the moment, so I'm just hoping to come across a rising sun with a maple board as I really want one, but can't face waiting a year for it!

I agree. I have played oold ones, new ones and the GX RI and all are comparable (the GX and newer ones are just missing the 20yrs of playing time to break int eh necks!).

I have both and the new ones are similar. I want to see some 1 5/8 necks though in the future.

I bought the last 1 hum/black Charvel from Matt, and it is an aboslute monster guitar. If your thinking about it, I would definately pull the trigger, you will not be disappointed.

I'm looking forward to my new Charvel arriving hopefully, tomorrow. Bought it from Matt and he gave me a great deal. Will post pics upon arrival but you can also check it out in the dealer forum.
