I would beg to differ, but play one for yourself. Maybe different, I don't really know, as I dont own any old ones, but suck may be a bit strong. The stable of new ones I own are absolutely incredible guitars. Fit and finish is incredible. Proof positive here.

I absolutely love that chlorine....Have had that discussion with a few people. I think they are all great, even the original cherry sunbursts. Please let me know if it ever wears out it's welcome in your home.

You've done well with the pics there - alot of the time the flame doesn't come across properly. I won't post mine in this thread as I don't want to hijack it!

On the musiczoo site, they even state that the guitars are difficult to do justice to in a photograph....

What an amazing looking guitar! I love that color. I've yet to see a new reissue strathead in person. The ones I played in the store were pointies, and they were dogs. I kept my mouth shut because I though it was just me, that there was something I didn't get. I own a new 'employee project' Charvel, which is also a strathead, and it plays beautifully.

Very, VERY nice guitar you have there, Shawn.

Yeah, it was his. This is a more accurate representation of the color. I guess the sunlight brings out a bit of the orange edges.
