Matt just sent me this pic of my Custom Shop Charvel that arrived yesterday at his shop. I can just kick myself for ordering this and the GMW (now Monte's) with a 1 3/4" neck. Unfortunately, this one will be up for trade too. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

[img]/images/graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] that is just extremely classy and almost the same switch config as my custom except mine is HSH with a blade and mini, not 3 way and mini. Only complaints. No gold fretwire, no gold bezel screws. Other than that, perfect.

That's beautiful. It really, really sucks that you discoverd you preference for 1 5/8" necks a tad too late!

The only hing that surprised me is that you have a vintage trem and no Floyd.
I LOVE the 1 3/4". I really do, 1 11/16" is OK too.

What will you be looking to trade it for?
A hot rod axe with a slim neck?

Given the hit that you'd take on what must otherwise have been a pretty much perfect guitar for you, could you not get the neck re-shaped and the nut replaced?

Just for interest, how long did it take from order to delivery?

It took about 13 months, which I guess for the Custom Shop is about normal.
