I agree 100% but with the radical lines of the Explorer to me the pointy neck seems to go better with the Explorer and Star bodies, call me crazy but I think the Explorer's with the Fender Headstock just don't match [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I like 'em both(even kinda prefer the strathead on the Star!!)but imo the pointy is just more "metal"!! [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]!!
