Hi Birdzeyee,

I am afraid that I have never had the opportunity to play a 25th [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img], so I can't say if there is any great difference.

The body is Alder, 1 11/16” nut width, 22 Jumbo frets, 25 1/2” scale. I will PM you all the details.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all great comments! I have been playing it this weekend and I tell you it is fantastic! I wish I could take some decent pictures of it my self.

They did a very interesting thing with the matching headstock and the fret board that worked out really well. I will try to describe it the best I can since I can't get a good pic of it.

Putting the 1/8" quilt on the headstock made the headstock a little thicker. To accommodate this, they made the fret board a little thicker so as to dove tail the quilt underneath it and mount the locking nut through the thicker fret board on top of the quilt. I hope that makes sense.

Anyway, the result is a slightly beefier feel than that of my Standard from GC. It’s very nice! They did a great job at the factory putting this together for me. I am really happy with this guitar! It was a long (and sometimes agonizing wait) but was well worth it.

And thanks to Rob at GA for helping to make this guitar a reality for me!

This is what Charvels are all about, sort of simple in hardware but killer looking and I'll bet it plays like butta.

Sweet. I love cherry sunburst. The import and USA arm's should fit each other, so you probably have the wrong sleve in the trem. I have only seen that happen once.
