Hey guys. I'm new to the board. That is me playing my 1984 San dimas. The graphic was done by my friend Glen at the Charvel custom shop back in the day. As far as I know it was the first with that graphic as I designed it because the band was called Holy Soldier and it was relivent. Wayne saw it drying and asked Glen to paint a couple for the NAM show that year but the bulllet holls were drilled through. It has a EMG 81 and the neck has a 16" radius with 1 11/16 nut width. The unfinnish oiled neck is amazing and I still love playing this guitar. Musikraft is building me a replica of that body a neck because I have not found another guitar that plays like it. http://www.musikraft.com/. Jim is realy cool and if you let them knnow you want a San Dimas replica they will nail it right down to the rear cavity shapes. C-YA

Yes its a 1984 and was repainted in 1986 by Glen at charvel. Its has many dings and seen alot of touring. It is still in great shape though.

Welcome aboard Jamie! I wondered if you were going to post after txcharvel posted on the Holy Soldier Fan board. Lots of great gear and history here. That is the neatest graphics I've seen on a Charvel and it's your's lol! Congrat's on your concert last Saturday. Hope we can see you and the guy's soon. I still listen to all my (old) albums.

Yeh I started at 13 and am self taught. I had a little instruction but not much. I would actualy like to go and take lessons.

Wow, cool Jamie! I got a B.A. degree in Studio Guitar Performance from Utah State (1980) and I still can't play guitar that good [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Most likely I blame my Dad, he didn't want me to be a starving musician, so he suggested I get another degree like engineering and I did. That's what I've been doing the last 25 years. Now I just drool [img]/images/graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img] over all these awesome Charvels and Jacksons and enjoy all the talk from the JCF members. Still play though. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
