Actually, I think an original serialized plate will detract from the tone of the guitar. The serialized plates are made from an alloy that is not very dense. A solid brass plate or even a chrome plate should sound much better tone wise than a serialized plate [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
