#4 regular serial number 6707. no thrilled with the setup - floyd is 1/4 of an inch off the body. like em flat to the body. will do the setup myself.
not upset - i think it would be hard to have someone else set it up the way i want it if i didnt talk to them. intonation is nuts on...
was hoping the neck would be like shawns white tele. that one is to DIE for. this is stunningly average.Comment

As a practical, I think the greenie neck profile (as well as the new SDs for that matter) are based on the GX B/W Bullseye re-issues, which is dead on to SD 2900 that I presently own. If my CS comes out that way, I will be stoked!"I''ll say what I'm gonna say, cuz I'm going to Hell anyway!"Comment

2 regular update: A fresh set of D'Addarios sure helped. I was able to fix my volume pot while I was at it. My set up was dead on. I did have to tweak the trem springs a tiny bit for the string change, but that always comes with a brand or size change. Some nice auto weapons oil for the trem and locking parts to clean and protect. Man, I'm set. This thing is good to go and ready to rock. I am happy as hell with this guitar....period. That may not seem like much from someone who can't buy a guitar every other week or tell you the specs from a certain serial number guitar, but that's the way I feel. I feel bad that there seem to be so many issues with this run, but I think Kevin, Matt, and everyone else involved did a damn good job. And that's not ass kissing. Strings are replaceable. Set up is subject able. And a highly figured neck would be great...But I don't remember it being ordered or promised. Paint...well..shit can and does happen. And should be addressed. Matt looks to be right there just as always to make sure things get set straight. IMO, magic still does come out of the custom shop. Maybe or maybe not in batches of 20, but for sure in #6694.The Buzzard does not fear

Well I must say .. I'm not sure what the total reaction of these are ...
Overall I'm very happy with the quality of my guitar. I think the Floyd adjustment is no big deal to be hoenst. I've got a good paint job on mine and the tone is killer...Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. I need to re-phrase any comments I made. I absolutely LOVE my Dweezil. It is truly a cool guitar and sounds out of this world. Matt is the shit, and this being Kev's baby, he deserves props as well.
The only issue with mine is the strings and setup, but every guitar I get goes for a setup anyway, so I couldnt care less about that.
Kevin, about that neck plate (once again, doesnt bother me in the least), mine is 6711. Did you say someone else has that also?

After the longest week ever (7 days), #9 regular arrived on Friday just before dark. You guys had me scared after hearing about the shiping issues but I' happy to report that mine arrived in perfect conditon. All I can saw is AWESOME. Only minor issues are string oxidation and set up is so-so. Nothing that can't be changed. When I get a new guitar I always change strings and set up to my liking anyway. Anyway..... I'm very happy with the way mine turned out and thanks again to Kevin and Matt for making this happen.Comment

#3 of regular head stock with pain problems on head stock. The oxidation on the strings sucks too. Charvel should give us some free strings. I am so disgusted with the pain problem. This is Charvel #2 that has come to me brand new screwed up. I don't even feel like sending it back for fear of UPS destroying it. I don't know what to do. They should give us a price break or something.Comment

No offense but if they offer to fix your paint issue send it back We had people with JCF01's that went through issues and never sent their guitars back, which made it appear that there was no issue at all...
