Re: Name Your Most Magical Charvels

before cease and desist order there were
probably 100 EVH Charvels made..that does not mean
there were more afterwards...I would say less than
      200..

But interest...I think one is one of the VERY FEW that
got a FACTORY FLOYD..It definitely had a V trem at
first because they or made that way...I could have
been hand picked by EVH since that faint writing is
very similar to his hand sig.. but who nows.. it was
built during the first Full year of production being
1980..and finished in Jan, 1981 I would say there were
only 20 to 30 FR units in existance at this time..and
during 1981 another 70...Floyd states he handmade
about 100 and by 1982 Fernandez tookover..

I have a few...my blood pointy feels great and my new Dweez is right up there. I prefer the pointy neck profile.

You knew I would be along eventually. With a neck like this all I have to do is turn the amp on, plug her in and listen to the sweet music.

Chris I don't but Robbie the original owner has pics with Richie Blackmore holding it.He has videos(MTV and concert) and lots of stills from back in the day.I myself have not seen them but some close friends have viewed them at Robbies house.
Did Robbie contact you by any chance? If not I can give him the info again.
                Really? well screw Mark Twain.

My 1989 Model 4...It was my first "real" guitar...I was always the guy with an Aria Pro II or a JB PLayer, so this was the greatest to actually get my first Charvel!

My Charvel Model 4 I bought when I was in High School back in the 80's...there's just something magical about it, hard to describe

                          1758 - My first

Thin wide flat neck. When she is dialed in she is a qtr mile dragster. When the weather changes we buzz like a bee hive. The reason I bought state of the art dehumidifiers and new central air system for the house...

4460. A steady true neck no mater what the weather. Fantastic floyd set up. Best Vai Satch guitar I have for the floyd tricks

                          Jackson Strathead

                          Can do anything

                          Daryl

Just short of perfect. I need to touch up a few frets but this one went together so well

                          Blackie

I take no credit for this one. Its a Tim Rose mutt but what a neck

                          Bad pictures but...

                          Both bullseyes are amazing

The green one (16017) is so fun to play. Shitty Kahler actually works pretty well. But the neck is just easy

The Red bullseye prepro is the quintisential Charvel

It has the wide flat perfect neck. I smile each time I grab the neck

I have none that I do not like right now but that was not always the case. I have necks that I need time help and money to get going..
