Re: New one coming...!!!!
So I played the new Tangerine Charvel at our gig last Saturday. I'd only had the guitar for 2 days, but it was set up very well by DCGL and was ready to rock.
I was hoping it would play similar to my GX re-issue Bullseye and I was not disappointed. The overall quality seems top notch, the neck is a dream, and the paint is immaculate. So now I feel (somewhat) less sad about not jumping on a Greenie.
The one thing I know I like better about my Tang vs. my single hum Bullseye is the Duncan single coil neck pickup they put on this one. It's great for nailing the tone on the beginning of Sweet Child, bluesy stuff, etc. I love the flexibility of this p/u config. Overall, I'd highly recommend the new Charvels.
