I missed this guitar, and really missed having something traditionally strat-like in the stable.

This set-up is great, as long as you put something hot in the bride slot (Dimarzio FastTrack2). I prefer it to any Fender that I've played. And, although not a Floyd, it holds tune very well.

They are great guitars. Very highly under-rated. I dig your red one, too.

The Dimarzio FastTrack2 is a great PU. Very hot for a SC-sized package. Puts many full-sized humbuckers to shame. And, unlike many SC-sized "hot" pickups, it doesn't sound artificial to my ears. You know, like a SC struggling to be something that it isn't. It's actually a nice, warm pickup with a medium-high output and decent harmonics.

This one on the Bay is going to end soon. At 299.99 with EMG's it is a pretty good deal. If I were not so cash strapped I would be on it.

I was glad a fellow JCF brother wanted her back. I actually have a blue one with a Wilkinson that I got back in 1995. A great guitar.
