Johnny, any feedback on the neck/action/playability of the GMW version?

My 3 GMWs all play great!
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Yea, just hold on and see what happens at NAMM. Good things to come!

John the fret board on yours looks much too clean.
You better send it over to my house for a while so I can "Break it in for ya"

LOL! The pic is from summer of 2003 when I bought it so it didn't have much play time on it then. But as you know I take very good care of my gear and there still isn't a lot of wear on the fret board.

I bet it isn't!

I second that! Those bodies that Dan painted were done with a special purpose in mind. My guess is we'll see them again in the near future!

Beautiful axe Johnny! When did you get that from GMW, and how long was the wait back then?

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks, my GMWs are great players. I love the necks on mine. Even though all of mine are 1 5/8", each one has it's own different feel to it.

Back in '03, I waited 4 months for the Crossed Swords and then 6 months for my French. Lee apoligized several times for taking longer than his original quote of 3 months. That wait was nothing compared to the 2 guitars that Lee has been working on for me now. 4 months feels like a weekend! But the wait is well worth it!
