Strat headstocks are now allowed on Charvel custom shop guitars and Charvel San Dimas guitars! Jackson's are not allowed to be ordered this way, the upcharge for a Charvel custom shop guitar is $300.00 list price. The upcharge for a San Dimas Standard is $600.00.

Matt - for the SD is that $600 for the entire neck, or just an additional upcharge for the strat headstock?

I think he means that you can get a strathead on a San Dimas Standard (the USA production model) for 600. Where as on a custom order its only 300. I think. I was a little confused by the wording as well. 300 is a pretty hefty upcharge, I still plan to get a custom charvel but I need to decide if I want to pay all that extra just for a strathead..Well I have plenty of time to decide [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

You make a good point though, I suppose you could get a Charvel Kelly or a Charvel Warrior or Death Angel. They might make you pay a "custom shape" upcharge though. I don't know.
