Did San Dimas Charvels ever have painted necks? I saw what is supposed to be a Strat head San Dimas if anyone is interested. I doubt its authenticity though. I had a white Strat head, ahd a HSS strat body in white with a black p/g and Kahler. The Kahler nut looked after market to me as did the bridge, but I am no expert. email me at [email protected] and I will tell you where it is. It is not mine. It was at a store I went to today, and to be honest, I don't even like the store.

There have been a few SD Charvels with painted necks indeed, so this one may be legit.

YES INDEED!!!!! Glen Drover from EIDOLON/KING DIAMOND main guitar for 14 years is a Charvel model 5 neck-through body solid red throughout!!!!! with a Kahler...........

Vivian Campbell’s white Skulls guitar had a white painted neck. It is the guitar used in the Dio, Live from the Spectrum video. Initially, because the neck is painted, I thought it was a neck through, but there are several places in the video where it is clear that it is a white painted, pointy head, gold logo, ebony fingerboard, bolt on San Dimas Charvel neck.

Yep, that belongs to a co-worker of mine. And yes, I will be making another offer for her VERY SOON!!! [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] She actually looks better up close! Absolutely mint (except for some wear on the trem). He even still has the trem bar!
