Pardon the quickie pics. The top is absolutely stupid clean. Anything you see on the graphic is just a reflection from the ceiling fan above.

Everything appears to be original except for the pickup(not sure what it is, Jackson maybe) and the volume pot looks like it's probably not original(not sure what it should look like, no date codes on this one).

It's a pointy. The Japanese neck fit perfectly in the pocket without modification.

Yeah, I'll put the right neck on it. It will end up being just like my other Star, original San Dimas bodies with proper necks and no San Dimas plate. I don't feel like spending $200 on a neckplate that doesn't even match the work order. I'll just stick a Japanese neckplate on it from 86-88 so it at least looks right. That way it will only cost me $10 and I won't care about drilling an extra hole(strap button) in the plate.

the reversed headstock does look pretty cool but a SD Charvel maple/maple neck will look better [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

I will get hunt,shot, hung, beaten, stabbed, ridiculed and treated like a new inmate for this ,but, the Kramer neck fits the shape of the body the best. Just refin the HS, install logo.....I cant help it...I am sick, twisted and basically...just not normal.-Lou
