Kahler trem + Floyd style lock nut = good setup.
The best of both worlds....all the adjustability of the kahler, with the secure locking of a floyd.

Probably won't be for a while, but, I will have a custom with one. Hmm how about a green meanie with a pink kahler?

You are in the minority my friend. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] I have have a kalhered SD up for sale on this board for months with not one bite from here. I personally like kalhers too but I do not need to have a ton of guitars so one has to go (more the Mrs. rule at this point but she is probably right).

I still say that a kalher run by a dealer would be a flop and a half.

Kahlers have more parts that need constant attention.OFRs are a simple design that needs little attention.

Are they using NOS hardtail bridges or did you order some other config? I have had kahlers and floyds both but have no preference. If the right guitar at the right price came along a kahler would not scare me. If I order custom though it is hardtail all the way.

I quite like Kahlers. Especially when they're on SD Jackson Soloists. To me they feel smoother and easier to use than Floyd Roses. I just don't like how much they cost
