Guys, anyone with any info here would be greatly appreciated. I picked up a guitar from a reliable dealer today with whom I've done much business. It is a strathead pre-pro Charvel, but I don't know the who's, what's and when's. The logo is a black 1 3/4", and there is definately some finish checking over the logo so it's not a recent thing. The guitar has one humbucker and one volume knob, brass saddles on the bridge, open back with no plate or holes. I took the neck off and it has "Boogie Bodies" and the number 842 stamped in there, and in pencil on the edge it says "John Amm" (I think). I've bought and sold tons of Jacksons and some San Dimas Charvels, but never had one of these old strathead things. Anyone got any ideas on this thing?
