Almost NAMM #6985 Big Mouth

Apparently this almost made it to NAMM this year, or something of that nature. Either way, thrilled to own one. Like I stated earlier, I had a chance to pick up one a year or so ago that also didnt quite make it to NAMM, but passed because I didnt dig it at the time. Then about 6 months later, after seeing a few more, it really grew on me and I was kicking myself. Once again, great neck, and I think everyone is gonna dig the work coming out of the factory. Just an awesome guitar. Clearly, I dig graphic guitars (duh?) because I think it takes the old wood and wire anecdote, and kicks it in to high gear. Some guitars do ok in pics, this one is tough to capture. I do wish it had a neck single, for variety, so I may have to take out the dremel..J/K

One more comment, and I have definitely given it its chance, but I think that TB-14 Pickup is an awful choice in these guitars. Youve never heard mud like these (to me, once again). The custom-custom-Alnico II-and numero uno, the 78 EVH is what these guitars deserve. I play the TB-14 in these, and then bust out one of the 25th's, and its not even a fair fight...my opinion, of course.....No lows (at least not discernible), highs are rolled off, and buttloads of mid. The 78 EVH is like heaven. yYeah, I know it costs more, but really, how much more, at cost? Cant be peanuts.

that's easy. it's to better represent his home state of Florida. so they removed some of the lower front teeth like a typical resident who has their dentures out [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Very cool. The graphic detail is better that the one I just had done http://www.jcfonline.com/ubbthreads/...;page=0#652573 however, Dan's price was WAY too much out of my price range--although I am very happy with mine.
