I just just had a sudden urge to sugga dick..! If I wore that guitar and didn't suck male genitalia..somethin' is very wrong! - Bill Z.
Thats pretty cool. I'll keep the idea of your review of the tb14 in the back of my mind. I am expecting my san dimas axe soon, and it comes with the tb 14.
It is interesting to hear a different opinion on the Duncan Custom 5.
I personally love it & have been putting them in most of my live guitars.....its really become my favorite Duncan....the perfect pickup for me.
I love the fullness. In my hands & with any of my amps (Engl Powerball, Splawn Pro Mod, Mesa Dual Rec) they don't sound muddy at all to me......really a nice tight & big low end.
My guitars that have Duncan JB's now sound a little thin by comparison to me.
I do like the Duncan EVH/78...but to me it is a touch mid heavy, & I do wish it had a little more output.
That is awesome! Please don't take this as an insult to the guitar or Dans work but that tongue just drives me nuts! I guess I'm being anal about silly details though. I am by no means an artist, but here's a quick photoshop rendering of how I picture the tongue (or something like that).
My goal in life is to be the kind of asshole my wife thinks I am.
