That's an SD3W - there weren't as many made, but it was a standard model.

Sandy told me back in 95/96 there were a ltd run of SD3W's made for guitar center to back a lower cost product..
GC requested Wilksonson trems,Black back and Lace Sensor pickups on these models. Initially she had told me there were 30 of each color made IE Red,Purple,Green ..
I used to have a green that was used by Alex Skolink on the clinic circuit to showcase the new charve line ...Don't worry - I'll smack her if it comes to that. You do not sell guitars to buy shoes. You skimp on food to buy shoes! ~Mrs Tekky 06-03-08~

Not sure how this fits, but there's an SD3W in the 'San Dimas Reissue' catalogue.....Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Re: 1995 Charvel San Dimas SD-3 price??
Two years ago I found a mint used one for $500 at GC. At the time I did not know any details about the guitar but since it had the Dimarzio pick ups and said "made in USA" I figured it was a good deal.
Can someone explain the coil tap switch? I have no volume control with it in one position? No honey, I have always had this Jackson....
