Where was that guitar? Anyone have the serial number?? I've seen the guitars coming thru final assembly and none of them looked like this.

I'd like more info (SR#, pic of hang tag) to verify it's the real deal.

Here is what happened...

The original finish and logo were messed up on that particular neck. To correct the problem, a laminate was placed on top of the original finish. The glue for the laminate did not adhere to the original finish causing the logo to drift or move once the guitar was shipped and had been under tension for a period of time.

When the neck left Corona, the logo was in the correct location.

if anyone can get a closer look at it, pop the neck screws and check for toothpicks - that should confirm authenticity.

this decal is no big deal, the easy fix would be to glue a piece of veneer over the headstock and apply a new logo.

Sorry Tim you are incorrect, you would need to shave the headstock down the thickness of the veneer first, duh............

Mike, the one I got a week after Christmas has the serial# 1737 and my logo's not fucked up. But it didn't come from MF either..........
