    Those single coil pickup rings look awful to me - they just make the installation look clumsy to my eyes.....

    Maybe the plan here could be to try to neaten the route, and if that doesn't work, then cover it up with a ring?

                Looks nice. The thing that kills it for me is not so much the single coil but the floyd recess route. I guess you could always go the refin route if you decided you wanted to fill those holes, but at that point, you would have to question whether or not it was even worth the trouble/changing the original finish.

                      Beautiful axe! I doubt seriously that anyone could remove the single (and make it look decent) without capping the body, and you sure wouldn't want to do that. I'd leave it alone, it's part of the guitars history. Man, that neck is to die for! [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]
