  • practicing my identification skills...

The headstock looks like the mid-90s San Dimas reissue style. That would be consistent with Fender body w/pickguard in hss config found on...the Standard?

    How'd I do?

I believe thats all Charvel and don't think it was actually part of the SD reissue series/ I believe all the reissues have 24 frets. Think they may call this a "traditional series"? Thats just a guess though. I've seen a few on Ebay ,some with 3 singles. They are made in USA but only seem to command around $400

The guitar is a San Dimas Traditional. Specs are:
      Rosewood/Maple Fingerboard
      Quartersawn Maple Neck
      Sperzel Locking Tuners
22 Jumbo Frets (Catalogue says 24!!)
      Custom Steel Fulcrum Tremolo (Wilkinson)
      Black Hardware
DiMarzio Vintage Single Coils (Obviously HB in this guitar)
Availiable in Sapphire Blue, Garnet Red, Forest Green, Black and Snow White.
All of this info is from the '95 Charvel catalogue.

Actually, that's mostly correct. It's not a Traditional, though, as they had 3SCs and a vintage trem.

I believe it's one of the Sam Ash-only San Dimas Reissues models. I forget the model name / #. There was a thread on another recently. Basically, it's the same as a Traditional, but with a Wilkinson trem and HSS. Also, the few of these that I've seen have mostly been maple fretboards. The Traditionals were mostly rosewood.

P.S.- The Standard model was HSS, but no pickguard and vintage trem.
