I would keep your eyes open for the stock neck. I have never met a repairman who threw anything away that was repairable. He probably gave it away, stuck it on another body, sold it, who knows.

          San Dimas neck question

I have an original San Dimas black and white Zebra strat. I ordered it in 1983(I am pretty sure). It came with a vintage trem that Guiliano's custom guitar shop converted to a Floyd Rose before I even took delivery of it. It has 2 hums, a 3 pos Les Paul type toggle, EMG's (Guiliano installed them too) and a pointy Charvel headstock that had a rosewood neck and MOP block fretmarkers. I wore the frets out back in the late 80's and UNFORTUNATELY I had Guiliano put a reverse strat head Warmouth (or MightyMite) maple/maple neck on it instead of having it refretted. I didn't even ask for the original neck back at the time so it is long gone. My question is regarding the original neck. I have never seen another San Dimas Charvel with MOP blocks. I would like to have somebody reproduce me an exact copy of the original so that I can return it to the way I first got it but I need a pic of one. The serial # is 1864 I believe (around there anyway).Does anybody have any pics or info?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It definitly going to cost some money having a custom shop, but I'm pretty sure it's cheaper to go GMW than Jackson custom shop... Next stop GMW!!
