Guitars definitely came first (1983). I got my first Jackson, the black '85 RR some of you have seen in my pics, from Profound Sound in (don't laugh) Andover, KS in 1985 and I've been primarily a Jackson player ever since. I too took a few years off from playing while balancing a career, grad school & some startups but I'm really glad to be back and enjoying it more than ever ... thanks in no small part to the good folks here at the JCF. Guitar. Model 6 that I got in 90 at a pawnshop. I put $50 down on it, and every month I'd bring in another $50 for another 7 months until it was mine.
As I acquired guitars over the years, I thought I was weird for always preferring my model 6 to any other guitar in my collection.
Then I found this site, and I found out I wasn't so weird after all! [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]Comment
