Rock Legend

I've grown tired of my Rock Legend, but love the neck. So I had this idea to completely disassemble the guitar and transfer the neck and all parts to a stratocaster style body. I would finance the purchase of the replacement body with whatever I can get for the Rock Legend body.

Would it be wise to "break up" this guitar?

What about the guitar are you tired with? Its a strat shaped body, so putting the neck on another strat shaped body isn't going to be that much of a difference. Unless you mean that you're tired of the single hum thing and want three singles... then there's a difference.

Right, the pickups, the pickguard and the knob placement is what more of what I want rather than the 1 hum and 1 vol.h
