Thats the price you pay to get #2......I think I could settle for 41 or 62 or even 80......seeing how it is the same guitar other than the serial #..

Let me tell you I bought my Charvel 25th for $2400 from Musician's friend and they still have one. Screw that price!

the guitar is sweet! absolutely love it! i am going with a ballsier pup in it though, the stock EVH has tone to the bone but not much power

Hey, is your's # 83? I played that one at Musician's Friend (its here in KC and I'm good friends w/ the Managers) It was a cool guitar for sure, just not sure it's worth the jack that is being asked for a guitar that is essentially a niche market guitar. I a/b'd #83 w/ my GMW and the GMW felt more like my old guitars. The 25 is cool for sure, but one thing I'd do tout soite (Toot Sweet to you Francophobes) is put some brass saddle in place of those chrome ones. That to me kills the vibe of the guitar. They had a custom shop fender strat there, an archtop, birdseye maple neck super strat config, very much in the spirit of these guitars anyway, and the necks were clearly the same neck, only the decals were different. Cool guitar, more reasonable prices and they'd sell a million of them.

Let me add I could have walked out the door w/ the Fender for 800 bucks, but that would have been w/ the discount my freinds give me on all this stuff. Did I ever tell you guys about the brandnew plexi reissue w/ a scuff in the Tolex I got for $200? NO shit, new in box too.

I got #69 and it was in a factory sealed box from Fender in plastic. I started to get the feeling the guitar is more or less a Fender Custom shop guitar with a Charvel sticker. Still a great guitar. Some people have said that the guitars are still made exclusively by Charvel/ Jackson employees. Any thoughts on this?I was going to buy another one but I am tossed up between buying another GMW. I think I like the GMW better.

When I started out I wanted #69 and buy damn luck I got it witout knowing!! My lady likes the #.... Hey Jim you remember me from the Danbury show? I think I might pick up another Charvel 25th....I have a few bucks stowed away. I was going to buy another GMW....maybe a Ratt swords replica. Then I could buy a Mesa Road King with the money I would save. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I remember you well! I laugh when I see "Tommy Lee Jones" dealing at the shows.

If you prefer a GMW, go for it.
