Okay everyone ... it's the moment you've all been waiting for.

I got her home, cleaned up the fretboard. Removed some rust from the trem. Put some new strings on. Cleaned it down. And ... holy crap, it's amazing. It was missing the cap on the 5-way blade switch, so I picked up a new one ... good as new!

















Literally not a scratch on it anywhere.
The neck is amazing, it's so smooth, and feels great.

And I couldn't possibly be happier. Just a day or two late for St. Patty's day [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

Is it possible to buy a Jackson/Charvel branded San Dimas case new?
I tried fitting this into my SL1's case ... but it seemed a little sketchy around the headstock (like the case was a tad too small).

You need to ask John the Marketing Guy or Matt on that one. I shopped for cases awhile ago. The Jackson 900 series thermoplastic cases are questionable (and are in process of evaluation for a redesign) and the cheaper (import cases) are also. I ended up buying Fender, G & G cases for about 5 guitars.
