I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of the original "holy grail" Heineken strathead. I remember about a year or so ago when one surfaced on ebay but i thought that was refinished, and i can't find the pics i saved from that auction anyway. thanks scott

Thanks for the reply. i saw that one, That is not a very good picture or description. i can't even see what type of bridge or how many pickups it has on it. was just wondering what is so different about it now as compared to when it left the factory. if the guy who did the mods only knew. Snatch the original Heinken #1001 has surfaced for sale a few times over the years, most recently last summer. I saved the pics but passed because of the way high price tag, I can email you the pics if you like.

Modifications included:
1. replaced neck
2. changed pku
3. added floyd
4. neck plate added after leaving factory

Hey Chuck didn't I forward you the rest of the pics to you or did I only send you those 2? The seller also sent neck plate, back of body and floyd rose area pics...can you forward them to Hoss if not I can if ya don't have them.

There was a replica floating around that I have pics of with a real prepro maple 21 fret neck and it looked KILLER!!

I do believe the original neck for 1001 was maple, anyone know for sure..I do believe it was maple though.

Amen on the maple board, that rosewood just doesn't cut it on that guitar.

Didn't a JCFr have the line on that guitar and it fell through when the seller got greedy?
