Re: I know it\'s a fake , but interesting none the
I lived in upstate NY right up until I went into the Marine Corps in 1990. Somehow I ended up in Dallas when I got out

Fake or not, i love it!! i certainly would have bought it too, man that has a cool vibe to it! very cool guitar and IMO a good price if it's a good player. as for the pickup it's an 80s Duncan Distortion wound by MJ who is seymours right hand woman that does most of the custom shop work. for a while they would put the persons initial who wound the pickup after the model of pickup so, DDJ is a distortion wound by MJ. they changed the labels on the pickups a few times over the years. this is the silly stuff you learn from being a duncan forum member for years LOL.

So, this is the pickup I pulled out because I thought it was a generic PU. I'm used to seeing Dimarzio or Duncan on the back. So this is a Duncan Distortion?

Congrats...Very nice guitar. A cool great guitar is a great guitar no matter what brand it is. Is that neck a real Charvel? Post some pics of the neck heel and truss rod nut...
