Charvel Pre-pro 22 Fret guitars???...

I know that absolutes are not the way of Charvel, so I will ask it like this:

Has anyone ever seen an original Pre-pro a 22 frets?

No rules with San Dimas Charvels but considering Pre-pros were pre-serialization & serialization began in Nov.1981 & most necks were 22 frets by late 82',Pre-pros were 21 frets!! & I've never seen or heard of a 22 fret Pre-pro!! [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] Chucksplatter

No way. There are no hard and fast rules with Charvels, but they only made 21 fret necks (just like Fender)up until a certain point, when serialized production had already began. At that time, you couldn't even get a bolt on 22 fret neck by any manufacturer (right?). Yoga and Hoss would know better than me.

I'm with those guys. Never have seen one. I do have a pre-pro star with a 22 fret neck. However, the neck is a 1986-7 replacement neck.
