• "USA Charvel" check....

Hi everybody,

Please forgive my ignorance if I should already know the answer... I saw a guitar advertised as an "USA Charvel" in a local store yesterday. I picked it up and the neckplate has the Fortwith, Texas address.

Now, if it really is a USA Charvel, shouldn't it say "San Dimas, California"? That's my impression from reading this forum anyway. And do all USA Charvels have graphics? Or just some?

I am not gonna buy this guitar either way, because it's in bad shape and I don't need another shredder, but I would appreciate it if someone could answer my question for me. Thanks

All Charvels with a Fort Worth plate are foreign made...

Not all USA made charvels had graphics...

Thanks, I suspected as much, but just wanted to make sure.

Sorry about the late reply, was without internet connection for a week

That's a common mistake. I live near Ft. Worth and
those Charvels were everywhere in the 80's.
Now all pawn shops think they are US made.
