I am ordering a Dweezil Green guitar first thing tomorrow. I can guarantee that it will be the nicest guitar on the planet knowing that the staff have worked out all the bugs on this first batch. Thank you for your sacrifices, early adopters!

I'll take some pictures but what I was disappointed with was the fact that this guitar was sent back with multiple problems and this escaped a quality inspection. I went back to my other Charvel USA custom shop guitars and discovered they probably had the same problem but it was caught and someone chiseled the route to make it clear. I am debating sending this one to get properly repaired. I ordered that guitar from Guitar Asylum during the Fender transition and it took a year and a half to get the guitar. I told GA that I specifically wanted a 3D plate and that I would wait as long as it took. That guitar showed up with no dot inlays and I was told "tough" by GA. That was the last thing I ever bought from there. Now I deal with MAtt. This my 3rd Charvel custom shop to have a serious problem in one year. I have gone through an EVH Art, 2004 Custom Zebra Tribal, and now the DWeezil.

Well here is an update....I dropped the guitar at a Fender / Charvel shop and they are going to contact Charvel Custom Shop for direction. The shop said they will either tell him to route it, send a replacement body, or have me UPS it back to Charvel. Here is the kick in my stomach though...If they don't return it to Charvel I will have to pay $125 to have the guitar set up after the repair. I was told that Charvel/ Fender will not cover that. I am quite pissed about that.

The shop does a very basic setup. I just got my PC-1 back from Jackson and while it was OK, it really needed a good bit of tweaking to get it right for me.
$125 is pretty high though... I paid $55 to have mine setup. And it's spot on perfect now.-Rick
