Very cool!!! How do you like the Custom 5 and Jazz pups? I'm getting a Standard Star soon with those pups, just kinda wondering how they are in alder with a maple/maple neck.

Very happy with the guitar, both pickups kill. The Custom 5 is a very aggressive sounding PU if you run a high gain amp. The cool thing is the neck PU has it's own thing going on, just great for blues. I really just was using the bridge pickup, then for kicks hit the neck PU and was very impressed, it has a very woody organic tone, it actually surprised me! I like the Alder body with both pickups, as it tends to make the sound bright with a nice crunch/clarity. Stars are very cool I would like to pick one up soon!

Thanks again for the great comments! I am playing the hell out this guitar. I took a plunge on her and went for a new SD and I have been a happy camper! Yes, there is something very cool about white guitars!
